Into The Deep
Have you ever wondered why it is so hard to be a Christian? Why so many people struggle day by day?
Do you ever ask yourself, “Why Me?”
Well here’s a fact–we All struggle every day wondering what the point of it all is, why we’re here, what we’re supposed to do with our lives. And most importantly, how will I ever know if what I’m doing is worth it or makes any difference at all.
So, now that we’ve got the questions out of the way, let’s dive right on in, past all the nonsense and things that really don’t matter and answer the dang question–Why Am I Here!
It’s really simple! YAHWEH, knew you from the foundation of the earth. He formed you in your mother’s womb. He set you apart. (see Jeremiah 1.5). You have heard YAHWEH is no respector of persons which means what is true for the one is true for all.
YAHWEH made humans to create a family of beings in His image. Somethings we just have to accept. Acceptance makes it all worth while and a lot easier. Why ponder questions that have no answer on earth. No one can tell you more than this. So, what is the point of it all?
Choose life or choose death. Make a choice to love the one who made it all or choose not to. Along the way, learn about Him and each other. Enjoy this journey and live. Teach others what you learn along the way.
Did you notice I keep writing “along the way”? Well therein lies the secret! Yeshua said “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14.6, NKJV)
Keep it simple people! Don’t spend your life trying to figure out what is already written! Read the Bible and discover for yourself just what it’s all about!
Take time to read the greatest book ever written. ASK YAHWEH to help you understand it while you’re reading it. ASK YAHWEH to give you wisdom to apply what your reading and see the truth in all its parts as you read. ASK YAHWEH to make sense of things that don’t seem to make sense. THEN Stop Asking. LISTEN and WAIT. Wait. Wait. Wait some more. Don’t get anxious about waiting.
SLOW DOWN AND WAIT.
BE QUIET AND WAIT.
REST AND WAIT.
Do what’s hard for most people–Read, then do nothing at all but wait. THEN pay attention to all the wonderful things around you! Ant hills. Birds flying and mating, and pooping, and eating. Insects buzzing. Flowers growing and dying and growing again. Listen to the rain, and the sprinklers. Watch the clouds and remember the games you may have played as a child trying to name the formations in the sky–“I see a duck! I see a swan! I see a bunny! I see a truck!”
And when that’s all done, go to bed and dream. When you awaken, do it all again. An in between, go to school, work, eat, swim, bathe, rest.
Eventually, you’ll get the answers you seek. And when you do, You will understand what it truly means to “Wait on the Lord!” and why all of creation is waiting for the sons of man to awaken–“This is why it is said: “Wake up sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you” for the llight makes everything visible. therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men, but as wise making the most of your time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 14-16).
